Their previous site was built in Magento, which created a number of issues with ongoing maintenance and bugs. Online sales were also plateauing, while the overall business was growing and they were fielding a large number of complaints about the website from customers.
LKI is a lifestyle clothing brand inspired by wheels and watersports. A true Australian, family-operated brand from Queensland, they promote, develop and embrace the culture of action sports and the lifestyle that surrounds it. The LKI team came to us with a very tight deadline, needing to complete the entire project in just 8 weeks, in time for a large campaign.

The team came to us wanting a new website with the direct purpose of increasing online revenue to be in-line with their internal targets and strategy.
We looked at the original brief presented and broke it down into critical and noncritical for launch, so the deadline was achievable and we had adequate time for testing. We managed to get the site live in time and everything was functioning well.
A transfer of all products and variants was completed successfully. Along with the migration we also put redirects in place to ensure customers didn’t get lost and search rankings were maintained.
Along with implementing a solid design and structure for the website, we also implemented a number of marketing features to increase conversions. We also mapped out a 12-month partnership and plan with the team to provide ongoing assistance with improving the website as digital marketing and advertising campaigns. The attitude of constantly trying to do a better job from both teams has delivered some impressive results.
A few months after we migrated the LKI website from Magento to Shopify, we conducted a review to measure outcomes achieved. Upon review, we could quickly see the enhanced user experience and sales features implemented had a significant impact.
