A unique health food company that was founded on the owners passion for all things tasty and natural. Macro Mike launched in 2016 when Mike, owner and founder, saw a huge gap in the market for a gluten and dairy free protein powder that actually tasted good!

Macro Mike's ever expanding product range is always plant based, vegan, allergy friendly, made with all natural ingredients, and they taste amazing!

Challenge

We started working with Macro Mike in May of 2019 when they started to see a real opportunity for growth - they just weren’t quite sure how to leverage it. The business had been going well with a consistent monthly revenue but it was time to find new customers and allow the business to enter the next growth period.

 

 

Our Solution

By having fresh eyes on their current strategy, we were able to identify opportunities that weren’t being utilised. Starting with a full deep dive workshop to understand and define their business goals, we created a strategy that would allow us to gradually build awareness and sales for the brand. We wanted to ensure we maintained a strong return on ad spend through our testing so a long term approach was really important.

Through Facebook and Instagram advertising, we were able to find new audiences to reach that weren’t typically in Macro Mikes ‘target audience’.  We developed a strategy to get in front of these new audiences and grow the brand's presence within the market. By adapting to their tone of voice, we created a whole suite of new ad copy that was specific to each target audience.

Over time, we found more new audiences to reach and new ways of getting in front of these potential customers. The reach continued to grow and so did the number of purchases from new users.

As well as digital advertising, we found opportunities to improve the user experience on the website. We continuously monitor user interactions on the website and find ways to improve the overall experience.

Since we started our digital strategy for Macro Mike, we have dramatically increased key metrics and it is continuing to grow even further.
